On 23 March of this year, the mayor of Enschede visited Sheltersuit. At the beginning of 2017, the Sheltersuit Foundation relocated to its current premises, the multi-tenant business centre Spinnerij Oosterveld.
The mayor was impressed by the new studio and sees Sheltersuit as one of the leading social initiatives within the entrepreneurial city of Enschede. The wonderful combination of helping the homeless and working with mainly refugees is unique in Holland. Furthermore, discussions were held about how the mayor can contribute to the realization of a potential collaboration between Sheltersuit and a number of German cities.
